Section 1: Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Wealtie. By creating an account or using the Wealtie mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Section 2: What Wealtie Is (and Is Not)
Wealtie is a personal finance tracking mobile application. It lets you manually record and organize your income, expenses, accounts, budgets, goals, and recurring transactions. It provides analytical summaries and visualizations of the data you enter.
Wealtie is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, tax advisor, or licensed financial service provider. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All financial decisions are yours alone. You should consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
Wealtie does not:
- Connect to or access your real bank accounts
- Initiate, process, or authorize any real financial transactions
- Provide investment recommendations or portfolio management
- Guarantee the accuracy of exchange rates or financial projections
The accuracy of data in your Wealtie account depends entirely on what you manually enter. Wealtie makes no representation about the accuracy of the data you input.
Section 3: Eligibility
To use Wealtie, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction
- Not be barred from using the Service under applicable law
By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you do not, you must not use the Service.
Section 4: Account Registration and Security
You can create an account using an email address and password, or by authenticating via Google or Apple. During registration, you must also set a 4-digit PIN code.
By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Keep your account information up to date
- Keep your password and PIN confidential and not share them with anyone
- Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Repeated failed login attempts will trigger a temporary account lockout as a security measure. Wealtie is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
Section 6: Subscriptions and Billing
Wealtie Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) via RevenueCat.
- Payment: You will be charged through your App Store or Google Play account at the price displayed at the time of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Premium access until then.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. Wealtie does not directly issue refunds for app store purchases.
- Grace period: If a renewal payment fails, your subscription may enter a grace period during which we attempt to recover the payment. If payment is not recovered, your subscription will expire and your account will revert to the free plan limits.
- Promotional codes: If you use a promotional or discount code, it applies to the purchase as described at the time of use and does not automatically apply to future renewals.
Wealtie never collects, stores, or processes your credit or debit card information directly.
Section 7: Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of personal financial tracking. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or other users' accounts
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network associated with Wealtie
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including reselling access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or servers
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Section 8: Your Responsibility for Data Accuracy
All financial data in Wealtie is entered manually by you. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter. Wealtie does not verify, validate, or guarantee that any data you input is correct, complete, or reflects your actual financial position.
Budgets, goals, analytics, and recommendations are generated based entirely on the data you provide. Wealtie makes no representation that these outputs are accurate or suitable for any financial decision.
Exchange rates used for multi-currency conversions are fetched from third-party exchange rate data providers and may not reflect real-time or bank rates. Do not rely on Wealtie for currency exchange decisions.
Section 9: Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Wealtie — including the app design, interface, source code, branding, logos, and algorithms — are owned by Wealtie and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
- Use our name, logo, or branding without written permission
- Use the Service for commercial purposes
The data you enter into Wealtie remains yours. By using the Service, you grant Wealtie a limited license to store, display, and process that data solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you.
Section 10: Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Wealtie does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, available at all times, or error-free
- Data stored in the Service will not be lost, corrupted, or compromised
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
- Exchange rates, calculations, or financial summaries are accurate or reliable
Wealtie is not responsible for any financial losses, missed financial goals, or poor financial decisions made based on information in the Service.
Section 11: Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WEALTIE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF WEALTIE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, ARISING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any financial decisions made based on data in the Service
- Service interruptions, data loss, or security incidents
- Actions or omissions of third-party services we integrate with
IN NO EVENT SHALL WEALTIE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WEALTIE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Section 12: Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wealtie and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of or access to the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
Section 13: Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Deleting your account permanently and irreversibly deletes all your data from our systems, including all transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, without notice or liability, for reasons including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Extended inactivity
- Requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including disclaimers of warranties, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
Section 14: Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. We will always try to resolve disputes informally first — please contact us at [email protected] before pursuing formal action.
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which Wealtie is established, to the extent permitted by law. Users in the EU or UK retain any mandatory consumer protection rights provided by their local laws, regardless of this clause.
Section 15: Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Service features. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
- We will notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice before the changes take effect
Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before the effective date.
