What people ask before they choose
Wealtie is built for exactly that: it never asks for a bank login, works in every country, counts cash the same as a card, and has a free plan with no time limit. YNAB and Monarch also allow manual accounts, but both are built around importing from banks and both are paid after a trial.
Of the apps compared here, Wealtie and Spendee have free plans with no time limit. YNAB offers a 34-day trial and Monarch a free first week, then both are paid. Checked 4 October 2026.
Wealtie supports 68 currencies on every plan, with each account in its own currency and totals converted at each day's rate. Spendee also lets each wallet have its own currency. YNAB allows one currency per plan, and Monarch shows everything with $ without converting.
The free plan has no clock on it
