Receipt scanner: Ten lines on the receipt. None of them typed.
Take a photo of the receipt and Wealtie reads the shop, the date, the total and every line with its price. You check it, then keep it as one expense or as one for every line.

A big shop goes in as one line
You get home with a receipt as long as your forearm. Typing in ten lines feels like admin, so it goes in as โGroceries, โฌ63.35โ and the receipt goes in the bin.
Thatโs fine until you wonder what the coffee costs you in a year. Itโs in there somewhere, inside every Saturdayโs total.
Photograph the receipt before it goes in the bin, and every line can be its own expense.
Photo, check, save
Scan Receipt sits at the top of every new expense. Wealtie asks for the camera the first time you take a photo, not before.
- Take a photo
- Or choose one you already took from your gallery.
- It reads the paper
- The shop, the date, the total, and every line with its price.
- You check it
- Pick the account and the category. Fix a name or a price, untick a line you don't want.
- Save
- One expense for the whole receipt, or one for every line.
One total, or every line
Same receipt, two ways to keep it, chosen each time you scan. Untick a line and it isn't saved: a bottle deposit you'll get back, or something you bought for somebody else.
One expense, named after the shop. Quickest when all you want is where the money went.
9 expenses, each named after its line, under the category you pick. The coffee is its own number now.

You check it before it counts
Nothing goes into your list until you press Save, so a misread line costs you one tap. Here's what it does when it can't read something.
- A name or price is wrong
- Tap it and type the right one. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
- A line has no price
- It says "no price". Tap to add one, or leave it and that line is skipped.
- No lines found
- You can still save the total as one expense.
- No date found
- The expense is dated today.
- The photo can't be read
- "We couldn't read that receipt. Try a clearer photo." Flat, well lit, the whole receipt in the frame.
- Not in the Latin alphabet
- Receipts printed in Cyrillic, Arabic or Asian scripts aren't read. Type those in.
The photo isnโt kept
A receipt says where you shop and when. It's read, sent back to you, and gone.
- 1On your phone
Shrunk to 1,500 pixels wide and compressed before it's sent.
- 2On Wealtie's servers
Read by an open-source text recognition model Wealtie runs itself. No outside AI service sees it.
- 3Back on your phone
What was read comes back for you to check. The photo isn't saved anywhere, and neither is the text.
A Pro feature, on every receipt
On Free the Scan Receipt button is there, and tells you it's part of Pro. Everything it fills in can still be typed.
- Log any receipt by typing its total
- Account, category, currency and date, as with every expense
- Ten categories and two accounts to file it under
What people ask before they point the camera
Wealtie does, on Pro. Tap Scan Receipt on a new transaction, take a photo or choose one, and it reads the shop, the date, the total and every line with its price. You check it, then save one expense for the total or one for every line.
No. The photo is read on Wealtie's own servers and what was read is sent back to your phone; neither the photo nor the text is saved. Only what you choose to save becomes a transaction.
No. Wealtie reads receipts with an open-source text recognition model it runs on its own servers.
Yes. Choose Per item and every line with a price becomes its own expense, named after the item and filed under the category you pick. Untick any line you don't want saved.
Tap the name or the price and fix it before saving. A line it found no price for is marked "no price" and skipped unless you type one in.
Yes. Choose from gallery instead of taking a photo.
It's part of Pro, from $5.99 a month. On Free you can log the same receipt by typing in its total.
Next time you shop, take one photo
Open a new expense, tap Scan Receipt and check what it read. The whole shop is logged before the bags are unpacked.
