Find out on the 16th. Not on the 31st.
One number to stay under, one to reach. Every expense and every payment moves them, and Budget Health tells you where this month’s pace ends while there’s still most of the month left to change it.
Nobody overspends on the 31st
It happens on a Tuesday in the second week. A dinner, a birthday present, a tank of fuel, none of them large. By the time the month’s total looks wrong, the money that would have fixed it has already gone on something else.
A limit on its own can only tell you that afterwards. What you could have used was a sentence on the 16th: at this rate, you finish €232 over.
So every time you log something, Wealtie compares how much of the limit is gone with how much of the month is.
One number to stay under. One to reach.
Expenses count against the budget and income counts toward the goal. Each has its own amount, its own period and its own streak, so a slow month for clients doesn't spoil a careful month at the shops.

It tells you while there’s time
Budget Health divides what you've spent by how much of the period has gone and works out where that pace ends. Here is one March, on three different days.

On the 16th, March had used 54% of the limit in 48% of the month. Nothing was over yet, and on a plain budget nothing would have said anything. Carried on, that pace finished at €2,232.
March closed at €1,940, inside the limit. The streak went from 7 to 8.
The score is out of a hundred and only drops below 80 once you’re spending faster than the month is passing. The face changes when the month is heading past the limit, or running well ahead of the calendar — not because one evening was expensive.
Give the limit a shape
Split the budget across the categories that need watching. Each share fills on its own, and only one that's past its limit turns red.
- You choose which ones
- Rent, groceries, eating out and transport here. Anything you don't allocate still counts toward the whole €2,000.
- They can't add up to more
- The four shares come to €1,180. A split that comes to more than the limit is refused rather than quietly accepted.
- Red means over, not close
- Rent at exactly €550 of €550 is still yellow. Transport at €96 of €80 is red, with a warning, because it's the one that went past.
Every month is kept
Each goal has a screen of its own: the month in progress at the top and every month before it underneath, with how close it came.
July €3,180, June €3,050, May €3,410, each against a €3,000 target and each marked complete. A month that fell short keeps the figure it reached and what was missing.
That list is where the streak comes from. Four complete months in a row is the 🔥 4 on the card; the best run so far is the 🏆 9 beside it. Budgets work the same way, counting the months that closed under the limit.

What people ask before they set one
You have one budget and one income goal, each with its own amount, period and streak. Inside the budget you can give categories their own share of the limit — say €400 of it for groceries — and each share shows how much of it is gone.
How much of the limit you've used against how much of the period has passed. Spend 54% by the middle of the month and it works out where that pace ends — €2,232 on a €2,000 limit — and says so, while there's still half a month to change it. The score, the days left and both streak counts sit underneath.
No. Moving money from your card to savings is recorded as a transfer, not as spending, so it never touches the budget or the income goal.
A monthly budget, a monthly income goal, Budget Health, the category split and the history are all on Free. Pro lets either one run daily, weekly, quarterly or yearly instead of monthly.
Editing a goal doesn't touch its streak. The count only moves when a period closes, and deleting the goal is the one thing that resets it.
