Earn in one currency. Save in another.
Every account keeps the currency it’s actually in. The total is shown in the one you think in, and nothing you’ve logged is ever quietly converted and lost.
Most money apps assume you live in one country
A client in New York pays in dollars. Your savings are at home, in marks. The card in your pocket is in euros. Most apps ask you to pick one of the three and type the other two in as if they were it.
So the savings account shows a number that was only true on the day you converted it in your head, and every month it’s a little more wrong.
Keep each account in its own currency and let the total do the converting.
Three currencies, one total
An account's balance stays in its own currency. Only the total is converted, into the display currency you pick, at today's rate.

Switch the display currency to marks and the same three accounts add up to about KM 11,717. Nothing you logged changes — the display currency is a way of looking, and you can switch it back the same minute.
Pay in dollars from a euro account
Log a purchase in the currency it was priced in. Wealtie keeps that figure exactly as you typed it and moves the account by the converted amount.
- What you paid
- $24.00, kept as typed. That's what the row says, today and in a year.
- What the account lost
- €21.82 — the dollars converted at the rate for the day of the dinner.
- What the budget counts
- The dollars converted into your display currency at that same day's rate, so a month of mixed currencies still adds up.
Last March stays last March
Rates are fetched once a day. Each transaction is converted at the rate on its own date, and that conversion is never redone.
Converted that day and recorded against March. That’s the figure in March’s budget and in March’s analytics, for good.
Today’s rate is used for one thing only: showing balances and totals in your display currency right now. Closed months keep the numbers they closed with.

Type “rupee” and four come back — Indian, Nepalese, Pakistani, Sri Lankan — sorted by name. The Bosnian mark and the Serbian dinar are in the list as themselves, not as “other”.
None of it is Pro
Living across a border isn't a premium use case.
- All 68 currencies
- Each account in its own currency
- Purchases logged in any currency, converted on the day
- A display currency for every total, switchable any time
- Transfers between accounts in different currencies
- Filter the transaction list by currency
Free includes two accounts, so a euro card and a dollar account already works. What Pro adds elsewhere
What people ask when they live in two currencies
Yes. Pick the currency the price was in. Wealtie keeps that amount exactly as you typed it and moves the account by the converted figure, at the rate for the day of the purchase.
A rate feed refreshed once a day. Each transaction is converted at the rate in force on its own date, so last March's dinner is still worth what it was worth in March.
It changes the currency totals are shown in, at today's rate. Nothing you've logged is recalculated, and you can switch back and forth as often as you like.
Sixty-eight, from the dollar, euro and yen to the Bosnian mark, the Serbian dinar, the Kenyan shilling and the Fijian dollar. The full list is on the home page under the fine print.
No. All sixty-eight currencies, per-account currencies and the display currency are on Free.
The savings at home can stay in marks
Add each account in the currency it's really in, choose the one you want totals in, and log what you spend in whatever it cost. Wealtie does the arithmetic on the day.
